I understand that you are using your old BT phone box as a courier drop-off point. I would be very interested to know how this is working and whether you have had any problems. We - the Parish Council - have recently acquired our BT red box and are considering alternatiives for community use. Any information would be most useful. Thank you. Thank you both for your replies.
Jill - crossed wires, I think. See Darren's reply. I had this information via one of our councilors who has been liaising with him re our website.
Darren - thank you for this information!

Hi,
I mentioned alternative uses for phone boxes when talking to the Kingston Seymour PC however I think there may be some misunderstanding about the whereabouts.
I had seen a news report that morning on BBC news about phone boxes being used potentially as a courier drop off box in a local community.
I cannot find that exact article however I have found these which may be of interest.

Hope that helps,

Hello George,
I have looked at a transcription of the parish records (which may not be complete) for about the time you mention and the only Mary Ann Hunt mentioned was born about 1823 she died aged nine on July 13th 1832.
It could be that the family might have been a non-comfirmist (chapel) persons so her records may be elsewhere. I am new to the post and it will take some time to build a network of local information. The dates are before 1837 when is was required that all births, marriages and deaths had to be recorded nationally. The name Hunt is not unusual and there are still Hunts in the area, mostly farming families. If I find other details I will let you know or if you can add further help in my search it would be useful.

Pat, Yes there is currently a bus at 55 minutes past the hour from 7:55 to 16:55 going to Taunton/Wellington. There is a bus 52 minutes past the hour from 8:52 to 18:52 going to Bridgwater. Creech is served by Webber bus and here is their full timetable: http://www.webberbus.com/index.php?content=timetables&route=TT015A&direction=1 Hope this helps Annette

Any information on Clitsome Musgrave who was a farmer in Adsborough in about 1795 |
|
2011-01-06 09:43:46 |
My great great great grandfather was Clitsome Musgrave who was a farmer in Adsborough in about 1795. He married Jane Haydon in Barnstaple in 1800 and they and their descendants lived in the Taunton area. Any information on Clitsome would be very much appreciated as I cannot find his parents Vicky, Kingston on Thames |
